FAQs

Q: Are you a trading company?

A: No. We are a professional sourcing company that can help you identify reliable Chinese manufacturers.

Q: Are you a sales office of Chinese companies?

A: No. Unlike other "sourcing" companies that actually are some Chinese companies' sales offices, we will find Chinese manufacturers that match your unique sourcing requirement. We work for you.

Q: how much will you charge for your services?

A: we will provide all inclusive landed cost deliver products to your door which includes factory cost, shipping, customs clearance, tariff, and our small service fees. Our client normally will get 20-70% cost saving including our service fees. We usually don't recommend our clients buy from us if this all inclusive price is less than 15% of current price. So our services actually are “free" and you get cost savings plus we watch quality and shipping for you.

Q: How can you have contacts with so many Chinese manufacturers?

A: We team up with numerous industrial associations, local government trade promotion committees, and local chamber of commerce. We have sourcing agents located in China . We can source from any Chinese manufacturers no matter they have export licenses or not.

Q: How can you identify low cost Chinese manufacturers?

A: First, like United States where high tech companies are mostly located in Silicon Valley, Austin, TX . etc, China has some areas specialize in producing certain products. It's easy to find low cost supplier in these areas. Second, many Chinese manufacturers are staring optimize their customer base to maximize their profit margin. We will investigate their customer base to avoid those manufacturers with higher profit margins. Third, we track raw materials prices in China which help us to negotiate better prices with suppliers. Last and most important, we have multiple manufacturers compete for your business to lower their prices, instead you compete with other western companies for manufactures' business.

Q: Am I on my own after you recommend Chinese manufacturers to me?

A: No. You will have a US based project manager to handle all the details, including communication, providing weekly project updates, tracking PO and shipping, manage supplier performance, and more.

Q: What is the biggest issue in off shore sourcing?

A: Communication, communication, and communication! Cultural and language barriers, different mindset, and management style cause many communication problems which in turn cause quality problems. Never assume anything. We speak in English and Chinese. We have seen some Purchase Specifications translated in Chinese by some factories and that explained why buyer can't get qualified products. We make sure Chinese factories fully understand specifications. We have set up collecting phone and fax so our Chinese manufacturers can call and fax us at any time without paying international phone bill. We will also have three-way conference phone calls and video conference to eliminate communication barriers.

Q: How can you protect my design not been sold to my competitors?

A: All our suppliers will sign Non-Disclosure Agreement. Usually, we don't work with these factories that have direct business relationship with your competitors. If we find supplier violate NDA, we will pull business out from that supplier.
